make a synth muffled?
I'm currently working on a piece that requires a muffled synth sound to give it that... feeling. But as I know there are no muffled synths in Musescore 3. Is there a way to muffle the sound of a synth or instrument?

You could make a copy of the individual synth preset that you want as a basis and then attenuate the treble. A free soundfont editor such as Polyphone can be used to achieve this without needing separate audio processing software. If you need more control over the effect then Audacity could be used to shape the frequency envelope.
