playback clicking noise from soundfonts

i'm having this issue where some intruments (usually drums) from a soundfont i put on musescore 4 play an awful click/pop noise at the end of it, making it horrible to listen. musescore 3 doesnt have this problem. i don't know if its a soundfont problem, a software problem or my computer specs. does anyone have any solutions for it or do i just have to give up on using musescore 4 and go back to 3.
