Corrupted Files
For the past week or so every new score that I've been working has ended up being corrupted. Even when clicking "Open Anyways", the file still refuses to open. I've tried everything I could find; downloaded WinZip, 7Zip, WinRAR, and successfully performed a sfc command prompt test. I'm not sure what's causing these corruptions, and I'm afraid to start any new projects until figure out how to solve it. Can someone please help me out here?

This file only contains bytes with zeros, e.g. no content. It cannot be recovered.
Search for a backup copy e.g. in the subfolder .mscbackup.

It is a hidden folder in the location where your score is saved.
Under Windows, these are the typical storage locations for MuS 4:
especially this one for locally saved scores:
Ask a search engine how to make hidden files and folders visible for your operating system.

Ok, I found the folder with the file, but it says it's an "Unknown File Type" when I try open it in Musescore (4.3.)

OMG! You are literally a live saver dude; I wish you nothing but the best. Sorry if I'm a little excited; I just wish I would've come here hours ago.
