line break
I'm starting a new score. When I created it, I specified 4 measures per iine.
However, for the first line, I want only 3 meausres.
How do I do that?

Add a system break to measure 3. You will probably want to remove the existing system breaks first. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/systems-and-horizontal-spacing#syst…
A tip: Don't mess with layout (including system breaks) until you have entered the music.
