d.s. al segno problem
I can't make this work when playing. At the end, It jumps right over to the coda. This is a long piece. I cut out most of it to make the example. I think the one-measure introduction measure is probably screwing it up but I don't know what to do about it. Is that "s" sign on the 2nd measure the correct sign for the "s" in D.S.?
Anyway... any help appreciated.
John

Yep that are the correct sign. How is it that you want the music to flow?

I want it to play to the D.S. al Coda then start over at the "s" sign then play to the "To Coda" thingy then jump to the "o" sign which is the coda and end.
For me it just plays the whole thing straight through as if there were no instructions at all.

Oops. I just discovered I had "play repeats" unchecked. It works perfectly now. Sorry about that.

Don't you hate it when software doesn't read your mind? I know I do :)

Wouldn't be better to have "Play Repeats" on by default?

It is on by default

Yeah, I probably turned it off when I was working on something else.

See but that's what I mean.....that switch should be on for every new work, so if you clear it for the current job, creating a new file automatically sets it again. In fact, how's about putting the switch where it's visible instead of hidden away somewhere's?

It's one click deep in the file menu. Unlike many other more useful things that are 2 or three deep.
Should it reset? Maybe, maybe not. I think it would be more useful to have export file format remember the last setting used.

It's something to consider anyway.
