Slow Speed Muse Score 4.3.,2

I have Downloaded the latest Muse score app and found it slowing down to become impracticable to use. 45seconds to open a score, 2mins 10seconds to copy and paste an accordion part.
I have rebooted and redownloaded muse score 4.3 but to no avail. This problem started slowly at first after up- dating in June at have just got worse over time.
