More efficient entering of fingering numbers
I've found it uncomfortable that I have to navigate to the text menu every time I want to write down a fingering. Therefore, I request that a keyboard shortcut be added to Musescore Studio for fingering numbers, and that you give it lyric-like functionality where you can jump to the next note by pressing [Enter].

NB: it's for which instrument (s)?

And for the record, the shortcut already exists, or pre-exists, ready to be used. All you have to do is define it yourself, the one you want, in Preferences / Shortcuts - image below.
As you can see, I haven't defined yet this shortcut. because I use the palette
This shortcut will only concern the "Fingering" option (not LH & RH fingerings) , i.e. fingerings will be placed above noteheads by default. Hence my question about the instrument(s) concerned.

So, create/define and use the shortcut "Fingering" as explained above will be perfect for you.
To precise: to navigate to the next note will be not by pressing [Enter] but [Space]
