glissando icon anomaly
This is such an obvious problem I'm sure you're aware of it, but I haven't seen any suggestions for dealing with it.
I can live with the glissando playback not working right. My problem is with the image. I can't click on the glissando image and count on it appearing! I've had it appear in all locations when I touch (click on) one that's in place, but then they all disappear as if nonexistent. Currently I'm working on a violin score, but I think the problem occurs in other instruments too.
To add insult to injury, a "play" icon appears with the gliss, in the rare event that it even chooses to appear on my score when selected. I can't find rhyme or reason to when it appears and when it's invisible. I've taken to writing (score text) "gliss." ...weirdly enough, sometimes that is interpreted as a glissando and registers in playback (bad playback but it's trying), sometimes not. I'm flummoxed as to what to do. Is there a way I can copy the gliss image and paste it into the score? I don't care about the playback, I'd just like to see it, consistently. (Sometimes, even though I've selected a note to attach the gliss to, it refuses to assign the image to the note and I'm stuck resorting to the score text - handwritten indication).
