MS4 dynamics bug with soundfont

ive been using the "GMGSx" soundfont (its a pretty old general midi soundfont) since ms3 and i've had very minimal issues.
upon installing the new 4.4 update though dynamics arent working almost at all with it. i've had no issues with this before the new update
diminduendos dont seem to be registering, and taking the tie off makes it have almost this robotic fade out feel.
