Trying to Reinstall Musescore 4.3

I need assistance on how to back out of the 4.4 update and return to 4.3. All reasonable advice will be appreciated.

First uninstall the 4.4 and then download and install the 4.3.2 here: https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/releases/tag/v4.3.2

I found the new sounds not to be true enough to my ears, i.e. too much electronic generated instrumental pitches and not enough of the clarity, line, and variation in pitch and attack that was present in the earlier version. A piece I was working on just last week suddenly sounded amateurish in a way that I was entirely unhappy with. If you would like I can share the mp3 of that version and an mp3 of the MS4.4 version.

As to the files to install, can I assume that the exe file will do all that is necessary or should I be executing other files in the file location you provided me?

What new sounds are you talking about? With 4.4 came the addition of a percussion sound library, Drumline. But the other libraries remain the same as in 4.3.2 and previous versions. Reinstalling 4.3.2 won't solve anything I fear.

Then what happened? The sounds are noticeably different upon installing 4.4...

What do you see/read in menu Diagnostic / Muse Sampler / Check Muse Sampler ?

Make sure that Muse sounds and not Basic sounds are being used. Check the mixer.
