Multi sytem Volta

I have a 3 part score, and I have a Volta that extends to the end of next system. When I hit "parts" and display 2nd part, the Volta stops at the end of the first system.
Selecting the 3rd part shows the entire score, I have to go to Instruments and hide parts 1 and 2, and doing so shows the Volta stopped at the end of the first system.
It doesn't matter if I use an open or closed Volta.
