update to 4.4.1
I had 4.4.0 which was working fine. I saw the message that 4.4.1 was available so I installed it. I ended up with a blank screen when running the latest version. I uninstalled 4.4.1 and reinstalled 4.4.0. Unfortunately the older version is now showing a blank screen also

I can not do it. I only get a blank screen with the "Musescore studio" title on the top left (see screen shot). There is no menu available. I am using windows 10 Home

As I was clicking around that blank screen the musescore interface came back. However, I am not able to open any musescore file. There is a message saying that it is loading it but it does not display the file. I have attached the diagnostic file

Thanks. The log files don't lead to tremendously useful insights unfortunately, except maybe:
- while clicking around while the interface was not appearing, you probably opened a score without knowing
- then when the interface came back and you tried to open another score
- because the first window already contained a score, that other score was opened in a new instance of MuseScore
- but this new instance apparently didn't load or become visible (or maybe it loaded behind the window you were looking at).
But that's not very useful information probably.
It is most likely that this is a Qt bug. We're considering to switch to a different version of Qt in a next update. This version solves some slightly similar problems, so there is a chance that it solves this problem too.
We have created a test version of MuseScore, that uses this new version of Qt. You can download this test version here: https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/24644
following these instructions: https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/wiki/Downloading-and-running-tes…
It would be great if you could try out that version, and let us know if it works better.
One other thought: some people who had similar problems to this one reported that the problem went away after minimising and then re-maximising the MuseScore window. You could try if it is that way for you too.

I just wanted to give some feedback. Yes minimizing and re-maximizing helps the interface come back. In my case though, I found out the source of the problem. I have 3 displays extending the same desktop. Once I disconnected two of the displays the problem was gone.

I have just installed your test version and so far so good. The interface seems to work and the score is playing fine.

Good to know. If this fix doesn't turn out to cause other problems, it will be included in the 4.4.3 release.
