Auto bar repeats
Hello! I need some help writing out an arrangement of mine.
The arrangement is quite long and I was wondering if Musescore had a feature to automatically add repeat bar(s) symbols. I've been looking for a while and I cant seem to find anything similar.
E.g. there is a repeating 2 bar pattern in the first piano part and rather than have it write out every time I would rather that I write the first one and there is the *//. sign and a number over it denoting how many times to repeat.
Many thanks,
JP

Great thank you, do you know of any feature or plugin that automatically adds them though, it seems rather tedious?
Many thanks

At least the repetiton of one measure is quite easy to set: Write a repeat sign from the palette, select this measure and press R, possibly repeatedly. If you press R for longer, the whole page will be filled with repeat characters ....

That also works if you select a range of measures. R replicates the range. So I guess (haven't tried) it would work if you select a multimeasure repeat.
Ok, great. Is there any kind of repeat grouping system e.g. if i play a 4 bar repeat and a 1 bar repeat they join to make 5 bars?
