Score dissapeared

I recently have been composing a quintet. Over the course of today, I have spent about 5 hours and got a pretty lengthy score. I didn't stop to do anything so it wasn't saved, and for some reason the page just disappeared while I was on it. I didn't click anything, it just went away, and since it's not saved I can't access it. Any idea why this happened?
