Note pitch
Hello, I was writing a piece and the instrument pitches began playing multiple octaves above what they should be at the normal tempo. I tried lowering my audio sample rate but nothing is working. It is on all of my pieces. I am on the latest version. My diagnostics are below.

When I open the midi file in a DAW it sounds the same as in MuseScore.
Not sure what you mean with diagnostics, but these are just some xml files with settings.
Perhaps a MS file can help to investigate this.
Do you also have this issue when you export to MP3/WAV or other Audio format?

Apologies for misusing the name of what I though were the diagnostic files. It's what it gave me when I clicked save diagnostics. As WAV format the audio files sound as they should. I tried with the highest and lowest bitrate and they sound completely normal.

Alright so I was screwing around in audio preferences and I am using SteelSeries as a virtual audio device. It seems MuseScore's default assigned audio output was through SteelSeries and when I switched it to run without that virtual audio device the audio returned to normal. Thank you for the suggestions and your time!

Interesting, as when I use the option to save the diagnostic files I get a zip file which contains more information.
At least it was not needed in this case, as you found the issue.
