@cadiz1 : I don't think that's quite what OP wanted. His example has a triplet IN a triplet.
@shenaw2016 : If I'm reading your example correctly, select a quarter note ...
... and press Ctrl+3 to create a triplet.
Change the first two eighth rests in that triplet to a quarter rest.
Use Add / Tuplets / Other ...
... to create a 3:4 triplet. (You want three sixteenth notes where there would ordinarily be four.)
Add the notes.
To make it look exactly like your example, select the outer triplet and adjust its Properties (upper left) to show the bracket.
Then select the inner triplet and adjust its Properties to show neither a number nor a bracket.
I would recommend delaying this last step until immediately before you are ready to finalize the score. Hiding all elements of a triplet makes it difficult (not quite impossible) to change that triplet if you find later that you need to.
@cadiz1 : I really wish I knew how to make a movie like that. What application do you use? What file type is it saved in that the website will accept as an attachment?
