How to create a singular "Rack" instrument for percussion?
Hey all! I've been trying to work on this rack part for an indoor percussion ensemble, but the only instrument that comes close to what I'm looking for (labeled as just "Percussion" on the instruments screen) doesn't have some of the instruments/sounds that I need. There are a bunch of individual miscellaneous percussion instruments (I.E. sus cymbal, ride bell, splash cymbal, sus crash, china cymbal, triangle, etc.) which are the sounds I am looking for, but they're each their own individual instrument. How would I go about combining a bunch of these instruments onto a single staff to create my own rack part? Or is there another way that I just haven't thought of?

I am interested in this as well.
Over the years I have seen many scores where the percussion part shares multiple instruments on one or two staves. Currently in MS you can display multiple instruments on one staff, by using the Change Instrument function in the text palette, but as far as I know, only one instrument at a time. I know of no way to indicate different instruments in a single measure or assign different instruments to staff positions.
I am currently working on a production of Jesus Christ Superstar (the 11-piece orchestration) where the percussion frequently calls for things like bass drum and triangle, or wood block and shaker in the same measure, each with their own idiomatic notation.
