MUSESCORE and H/W + S/W Optimal Behavior

My laptop composition machine has fallen and can't get up. I'm going to buy a new machine. My O/S preference is Linux Studio, though I see complaints about problems with sound under Linux.
A) What machines present the best behavior and least problems with sound production?
B) How much memory results in good sound production while rendering scores?
C) What O/S has the least problems running Musescore 4.x+?

Thanks ahead of time for feedback / experiences shared.

For your question B), take a look at this page: https://musescore.org/en/download, all the way to the bottom, under System Requirements.

Regarding your question C), it is my impression from reading the Forum for many years, that Windows machines have the least problems in running any version of MuseScore. However, there are many others who might disagree with me on this; even I might disagree in certain cases. :-)
