Lyric Distance
Please see attached.
As I enter lyrics where the melody is low, the lyric stays in the same vertical position. I would like to see that, at a predetermined distance, the program would adjust the lyric vertical position so as to not interfere with the note.

Generally its not a good idea to resurrect these very old postings. They refer to very old versions of MS and speak of issues that are usually long fixed or feature requests that now exist.

With all due respect...
There's nothing in the posting that gives me any indication that the feature request was addressed. 2 years is by no means a long time to wait for features requests to be implemented in an open source project and given that it was an issue I was having... There's nothing in the Handbook about it and this is the page that came up when I searched for how to do it. Generally creating duplicate postings is a bad idea *too*. So until the documentation catches up, now at least if someone has the same problem, they'll search and find the solution.
