Key Signatures
I am having trouble simply adding a key signature to pieces. for some reason writing for trombone worked fine however every time i try to write a trumpet part im unable to make it in the key of Bb. i make sure the measure is highlighted yet dragging it never works. please help i need to write these parts asap.

The trombone is a instrument in C.
The trumpet is in Bb and therefore a transposing instrument. That means you must choose a different key.
Trumpet is a transposing instrument, maybe you'll have to switch "Concert pitch" (lower right corner of the program) to show your key signatures fit.
