lines
Has there been any discussion about improving MuseScore's handling of lines--specifically those plain lines* used in keyboard scores to indicate movement of voices in a polyphonic texture? (etc.) As it stands currently, they are very tricky to place, and will go all wonky if the layout is altered or reset.
It would be nice if both the start and end points could be snapped to notes.
*Technically, "line segments."

Note-anchored lines? This just got improved pretty recently (in master, so will be in 4.5)
Note anchored lines can be snapped to notes and are very useful for the application you describe.
They are currently found in the Add menu but I think there are plans to put them in the Lines palette. Also ways of controlling the offset in relation to note heads is being looked at. See https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/21279 for example.

They are in the lines palette in 4.5, and use the same layout as straight glissandos, much better than currently
