Notes playing ahead of time and wrong dynamics in playback
In this cello solo, the A4 overlaps with the D4 that comes before and, instead of playing a decrescendo, it plays a crescendo. Does anybody know why this happens or how to fix it?

There is some kind of problem in the font with that jump from D4 to A4. However if you try some of the staff texts like non legato or classic phrasing, it seems to be OK. Dynamics must be set to a note. The way you have it won't work.

What do you mean by "problem in the font"? Also, I think I have set the decrescendo to the D4 but it's still not working.

Change either of the two notes and the problem goes away.
Two make the mf work at the end you would have to either add a measure with another A4 tied to the previous one. And put the mf on that note. Or make the whole note shorter tied to another note to make up the difference. Put the dynamic on the added note. A hairpin on a whole note with a dynamic at the end of the measure (without an added note) will not work. I can post a sample score if you need it.

The crescendo was working from the beginning in the original score, but maybe not in the report I sent since I just cropped the solo; there is a mf attached to a B4 after the A4.
I came up with a solution for the overlapping: I changed the A4 to the second voice and that fixed it, however, that D4 is still doing a crescendo, even when there isn't a hairpin.
I had a test with the score and saw that when i removed the 8 ottava sign it was no longer overlapping. I've had some trouble with the ottava signs too. But i'm trying to figure out the dynamics. If you would like to see my problem that I had, head to this link https://musescore.org/en/node/372392#comment-1270298. Sincerely, Mr.Beethoven.

Yes, remove the sign and the problem goes away. But then move the pitches up an octave and it comes back.
