imported pdfs require lots of editing
Hi, I have converted 28 pdfs to .mscz and when I open them they have quite a few errors. It will take a long time to rectify them - is there any kind of workaround to improve accuracy? I have attached an example pdf, the 'RAW' file is the conversion, and the 'Alto' file has been transposed to play Alto, so it looks like the pdf. Any thought on speeding up the re-writing of bars etc.? Many thanks

1) Use a commercial, fee-based program.
2) Musescore uses the free Audiveris. You can install it on your PC so that you can influence the conversion.
3) No program does these tasks absolutely perfectly!

4) Such a simple score can be transcribed into musescore by hand in a few minutes. Start here https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/basics
The problem is the bad quality of your pdf.
A locally installed RECENT Audiveris (v5.3.1) https://github.com/Audiveris/audiveris/releases does a far better job. Hardly any corrections to make.
The online version of Audiveris has not been updated in ages.
