Musescore studio: expression mapping for VST instruments

Hello there,

Since I didn't really find anything about it and the support told me to as here:

I know the MuseSounds expression mapping works really well. And I know there are limitations in implementing this for third party VSTs. But does MuseScore have the capability to send any form of key switches at all? I don't care in what format, I just want to have some control inside the software to use my thousands of euros worth of instrument libraries...
I have a bigger project coming up with a team behind it for my studies and this function would be kind of crucial!
