Bar size

I have one bar that has stretched across the whole line of a page and I cannot reduce it--I have tried shift + left bracket and it doesn't work.

I want the next three normal sized bars to be on the same line with this over sized bar. How do I reorganize my score so it has 4 bars on each line?
