Set the volume
Although my PC's volume is at 100%, I can hardly hear the notes played.
How can I make sure that the sheet music volume is at 100%?

This is what the faders in the mixer are for. Boost the volume of the guitar and even the master volume, if needed. You can decrease other instruments, if needed.
In my Win 7, clicking on the speaker icon and selecting "Mixer" opens this window. If you find something similar in your operating system, check if the settings for Musescore might not be sufficient. (Sorry, German installation ...)
