Pizzicato
No matter how many times I've tried and followed workarounds, my pizzicato will not work. Please know that I am importing fairly new Finale files via musichtml. Secondly, if I copy and paste the notes from the open html file (already imported into Musescore) to a new musescore 4 template, pizzicato will work
On Finale, we used to be able to import what they called libraries, which included dynamics, articulations, techniques, etc. Is there not a way to import a library to an already imported musichtml file? What is missing to the text pizz. that Musescore does not recognize as such, only text?
Thanks!

This score is for choir and harp. How would Finale use pizz in this score?

I intended to do a demo for string quartet and harp since even the highest quality vocal samples are not that impressive. This is one of several files that I am unable to playback pizz., and at some point follow with arco, etc.

MuseScore can't apply a pizz to voice or harp. At the the very least, voice sounds need to be changed to strings. This is done in the mixer. Even better would be to change the parts themselves to strings. You might need to spend some time in the manual.

Thank you. It is more than obvious that voices do not sing pizzicato. LOL. My desire to use pizzicato was for a demo in which I would use string quartet sounds. Sorry for the confusion :-)

Where you able to do that?

I just managed to "discover" a workaround: re-load the instruments from the instruments palette. Once the strings are re loaded, the item pizzicato within the text tab becomes active.

Glad you found something. That might not work for a score you create in MuseScore. When you get that far. Does Fanile have a Mixer? I know Sibelius does.
