Sorry for my clumsy explaining. I try again:
In version 4 I can avoid the "space" between bar 1 and 2 when having double repeat-line and change of key.
Hope that is a better description of my "problem".
Aah, how did I do that.....it was a preference I believe. "place outside"? or something.
Sorry for being vague, but I have not used later versions of v4, it was 4.0 or 4.1.
Is it perhaps not possible now?
I will download latest 4 and see if I find out...
Hmm, checked with latest Musescore version and did NOT find a way to do what I am sure I did once: "place outside" or something like that as a setting. Might try and download an early v4. to see if my memory is just playing me a puzzle.
It's anyway a quite relevant "thing": none of my printed scores have the double repeat line with the key signature change "in between".
You are right. I am confused. I believe I did this in an earlier version 4. Thanks for checking out v4.4.4, I was looking all over to see if I missed something.
I don't understand what your "question". Between bars 1 and 2 is a Key signature. At the beginning of bar 4 there is a flat accidental in front of the B. They are two different things and i don't see why you would want one to look like the other.
My (bad) example is only to describe how I like the visual layout to be with double repeats. Not with the space like between bar 1-2, but like the “simulated” bar 3-4 look.

The difference in the visual layout necessarily relates to the tonality.
See this example (for MuseScore3, MuseScore4): ExampleMS3.mscz ExampleMS4.mscz
If you don't want the space, don't change keys... ;-)

That is a 3.7 score...
It looks exactly the same in 3.6.2, 3.7 and 4.4.4, so I guess I'm missing the point?

Can you attach a screenshot of the printed repeat section, or attach a pdf of the score (if printed from pdf)?

In version 4 (specifically, 4.4.4), I cannot find any way to put the key signature "outside" (to the right of) the two repeats. *shrug*
