How do I create a piano accompaniment for a song I only have chords for?

Way outside the scope of this forum. There are probably people here who can help you. However, it's fairly complex topic (this would be a semester or two at a music school) so you are unlikely to get anything beyond a very simple explanation.

Do a Google search for "piano accompaniment". For a jazz style, I recommend several of Aimee Nolte's videos (https://www.youtube.com/user/NolteFam/videos) on YouTube. (You'll have to dig through them: she has LOTS of vids on LOTS of topics.)
