Entering pitch and rhythm with a MIDI keyboard
This seems like a rather basic question, but I'm not finding the documentation quickly....
I'd like to be able to play with a metronome and have MuseScore notate both the pitch and rhythm of what I'm playing. The modes I've found so far simply let me input pitch according to a set rhythmic value - and to change that rhythmic value I would have to change that manually. Is this possible with this software?

The best way to do this now is to record your midi file in a DAW, like Ardour, Reaper, Logic etc, and then import the midi-file to MuseScore. And you iwll get the best midi import support if you import into MuseScore 3 and then save the file and open it in MuseScore Studio 4.
