I want section to repeat with 1st & 2nd endings on the DC
In the attached score, it is supposed to go
AAB then do a DC al Coda and do another AAB this time segue-ing to the coda
but of course it doesn't do the repeat of the A section on the DC, because the normal behaviour is to skip the repeat & 1st ending on a DC and go straight to the 2nd one. Now I know you tweak properties on the voltas having to do with repeat list, and you also tweak measure properties on the repeat bar BUT I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY ACTUALLY REFER TO & the doc https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/voltas doesn't say how this interacts with a DC situation and I don't really understand the doc anyway & everything I try only makes it worse, and should I do something with the end hook or something? It seems simple: I want BOTH repeats of A BOTH times. Thank you.
Bonus question, it starts getting kicky in the B section and Coda and obviously that needs cleaning up and is there some way to align the chord symbols rhythmically quantized to the granularity you need? 1/8 in this case. I historically filled the bar with rests and aligned the chords over that then replaced them with what I really wanted and I can continue to do that but is there a better way? Thank you.

Always best to limit a given post to a single issue. It's too likely that people will answer one question and the other question(s) never get an answer. That said ...
Click on your D.C./D.S. to select it. Go to the Properties panel (upper left). Under General / Jump, put a checkmark into the box labeled Play repeats (immediately above Text). See https://handbook.musescore.org/notation/repeats/jumps-and-markers ... the section after Voltas.
For your question about chords, read the entire Handbook section on https://handbook.musescore.org/text/chord-symbols, with particular attention to https://handbook.musescore.org/text/chord-symbols#navigation-commands and the instructions to "Move chords by duration number".

Thank you so much. Especially for not "just fixing it" for me. :) I was looking for the answer in the wrong place--more and more common as software/web apps become more complex. Clicking on the D.S. to access its properties is a new one for me. and a general takeaway is probably that EVERYTHING potentially has properties. And hopefully I'll learn something new about chord symbol placement too.

I have a few comments about the voltas.
You don't have to name the voltas 3 and 4 (unless you want to for the musicians), but especially the "Repeat list" doesn't have to be 1,3 and 2,4 - only 1 and 2. This had no effect anyway because you didn't set the "Play Count" higher in measure 11 (which was correct).
Only the properties of the "D.C. al Coda" with the tick for "Play repeats" is important here! (Also with D.S.)
Then you could also name the "D.C. al Coda con. rep." - with repetition. Simply double-click and write "con. rep.". This has no effect in Musescore, but the musicians know that they have to play both voltas both times.

@TheHutch Good one that about the chord symbols position, thank you! I've been fooling around like the OP for a long time.

That's why I recommend that every new (or "new-ish" :-) user take an hour or two and simply read the entire Handbook (https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4). Don't try to memorize it! Just skim through it and familiarize yourself with the contents! But read it all!!! Then you'll have an idea where to find things when issues come up in the future. "Didn't I see something about that in the Handbook?"
Welcome aboard, Raquel (even if somewhat delayed :-), and best of luck!!!
