Yes sorry. I tried to edit it when I realised I’d put the wrong heading - that’s another issue which crashed the program but I didn’t realise before I pressed the button. Many apologies

So what exactly is the problem then?
Selecting an element and pressing F2 is definitly putting it into edit mode, in MuseScore Studio 4.5.2 on Windows 11, I've just tried. (I'd usually use double-click instead)

I was exporting an .mp3 audio file and MS4 kept crashing at about 75-80% complete. If I reopened the program and did the same thing again it worked. I had changed the name of the file on the Save screen so it was different from the corresponding name of the .mscz file. Don’t know if that was why. But as it was highlighted in blue in the File name field, I took that to mean I could change it.
