Edit Element not working
Using 4.5.2.
Right click on an element, in my case a pause, so that I could alter the length of it, as I could in Musescore 3
Go to Edit Element and use F2 or Alt+Shift+E to open
Edit Element isn't opening, either by using F2, or Alt+Shift+E

Yes, it doesn't work. Instead, select your pause and go to Properties>Playback. You can edit it there.

Thanks. I’ll try that.
It does work as intended, i.e. to make adjustments to positions using the cursor keys. (as it did with MS3, AFAIK)
