Chords not sounding
I've downloaded a file that I wanted to playalong with to practise the chords in the guitar part. When I select only the guitar part and play that all I hear is the metronome not the chords.

They are not chords but just stave text.

Thank you I had just come to the same conclusion. But how can you tell it is stave text and not chords other than that they don't sound.

OK I can answer this myself. Do a right-hand click and for chords the last menu choice is "Realise chord symbols" where as for test posing as chords it is "stave text properties"

or: click one chord and look in the status bar (down left of window)
