SUGGESTION FOR PLUG-IN TO CREATE SING-ALONG NOTATION

A Plug-In for creating notation suitable for singers who are unable to sight read music scores would be useful.
It should be able to replace note heads with horizontal bars which include lyrics. An existing plug-in which shows note names could possibly be adapted for this purpose. Each horizontal bar (note head) would be placed on the staff to indicate its pitch, be of length to represent note duration, and contain the appropriate word or syllable from the lyrics.
Apple's App Store offers an app called SingAccord which claims to be able to open MuseScore's MusicXML files (but which does open them), and is intended for production of videos to help church congregations to sing along to hymns. It displays lyrics within horizontal bars as described above.
