Measures spread out
I created a piece on Musescore in 4 voices. After I created the file I tried to decrease the spread so I could get the piece on one page. It has done something strange and the piece is now spread over 5 pages with only one or two lines on a page. I don't know what I have done. Can anyone please help?

In Musescore 4.5.2 its one page only, not 5. Very many rests in mens voices.
You are running very old Musescore 3.3.4
The four choral voices - S, A, T, B - are different to MuseScore's definition of a Voice. In MuseScore each staff can have four Voices and you should start with Voice 1 and only move to using Voice 2, 3, 4 if necessary. For the lower staff, you should again start with Voice 1. Rests can be deleted in Voices 2, 3 and 4 but not in Voice 1, hence why your T, B staff has a lot of rests.
As for layout, advice alluded to as above - upgrade to a newer version.
