heavily impaired by lyrics issues am I

To create scores I use a template into which 2 lyrics styles are specified (I replaced the XML smaller / greater than by parenthesis, to let that be shown here)

(TextStyle name="Lyrics odd lines")
(family)Times New Roman(/family)
(size)15(/size)
(bold)0(/bold)
(italic)0(/italic)
(underline)0(/underline)
(align)2(/align)
(offsetType)1(/offsetType)
(sizeIsSpatiumDependent)1(/sizeIsSpatiumDependent)
(xoffset)0(/xoffset)
(yoffset)7(/yoffset)
(rxoffset)0(/rxoffset)
(ryoffset)0(/ryoffset)
(/TextStyle)
(TextStyle name="Lyrics even lines")
(family)Times New Roman(/family)
(size)15(/size)
(bold)0(/bold)
(italic)0(/italic)
(underline)0(/underline)
(align)2(/align)
(offsetType)1(/offsetType)
(sizeIsSpatiumDependent)1(/sizeIsSpatiumDependent)
(xoffset)0(/xoffset)
(yoffset)7(/yoffset)
(rxoffset)0(/rxoffset)
(ryoffset)0(/ryoffset)
(/TextStyle)

However when the lyrics have been edited I find a whole array of styles, which in XML appears to have been specified for each note, such as, for instance

(Lyrics)
(syllabic)begin(/syllabic)
(tick)0(/tick)
(style)6(/style)
(html-data)
(html)(head)(meta name="qrichtext" content="1" /)(meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /)(style type="text/css")
p, li { white-space: pre-wrap; }
(/style)(/head)(body style=" font-family:'Times New Roman'; font-size:11.9906pt; font-weight:400; font-style:normal;")
(p style=" margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px; -qt-block-indent:0; text-indent:0px;")(span style=" font-size:9pt;")Ma(/span)(/p)(/body)(/html)
(/html-data)
(/Lyrics)

I have now a ready score, for which I am in some hurry, and would be pleased to find some global way to show lyrics in 15 size. I tried the "Apply a style" menu from a .mss file I made previously and which includes the same Lyrics styles definition as my template, it gave no result. I'll try now to edit the xml file, replacing the "9pt" by "15pt", since the abve Lyrics entry appears in size 9 under mscore.....

but if there is somme better solution......

Thanks.

If you use one of the latest prereleases you can right click a lyric to get the property menu, change the font size and click the check box "apply to all similar elements".

Thanks, I'll try the last prereleases when I'll not be in a hurry.
Meanwhile

1/ I erased all the various sizes by text editing the XML file, placing lyrics between text markers instead of "html data" ones and all its precisions

2/ I found that the size given in the text style is in fact a nominal size related to the "default" basic space. If you change the basic space mscore adapt itself by using an adapted size, and this is this size which is reported in the properties of a selected text, and in my case of a selected lyric syllable.

I attach the score to let anyone have a better understanding.

As I wanted small notes and large lyrics my score is not at all standard, and that's presumable the basic reason which fuzzied my score.
