Rev 2451 sound problems
The mixer settings are ignored when the play button is pressed, unless the mixer is adjusted while playback is in progress. But when starting playback again the mixer settings are again ignored. In other words, the only way to get a mixer setting is to adjust it during playback - not very helpful and this was not a problem in earlier releases.
Another problem with this revision is that after adjusting the mixer during playback, the next click on the play button does not stop the playback. Instead it starts a new playback with the wrong mixer settings. A second click is needed to stop the playback.

Mixer settings work for me in r. 2597
That's all very well, but 2597 isn't available to me. I've just checked in the Windows pre-releases page where 2451 is still the latest release (not counting nightly). When will this be available to the general public?
Please reopen if you test and find it is not working. I am using a self-built version of MuseScore. Probably you would get the same result with the latest nightly.
