Copy and Paste Lyrics

I have searched the forums and read responses, and have read the manual, but I haven't been able to solve my problem. Using version 0.9.5 2012.

Can copy and paste notes. Can copy and paste lyrics and notes at the same time. Cannot copy and paste lines of lyrics on their own. I have been trying for ages now and it's driving me crazy.

Have created some choir music in 4 parts (SATB). Written all the music in for all the parts. Have written in the lyrics for verses 1 & 2, and the chorus, for the soprano part. I now want to be able to copy the lyrics from the soprano part and copy them in to the alto part, without changing the music. Nothing I have tried seems to work!

Can anyone please help?
