Symbols in score - linux daily build
I am getting symbols in my scores on the nightly build.
This includes a small rectangular box on the tab (upper part of the picture) and when using repeat bars I am getting 3 rectangles.

What operating system? Look for fonts with mscore in their name and remove them.

I am using Fedora 21 . No custom fonts installed, just whatever mscore 1.3 and the nightly build installed.
Will look for the fonts mentioned and get back to you

we had reports of 1.x packages for Linux that erroneously included these fonts.
Might as well look for Bravura too while you're at it and remove it if present. It is not supported to have manually-installed version of MuseScore's internal fonts on your system. MuseScore needs to be able to the version of the fonts it has compiled in; an incompatible version of the font installed on your system is what produces the artifacts you are seeing.
