Wrapping multiple lyrics/text on one note

Hi there: I am using version 1.3 on Mac 10.7.5, and trying to generate a text phrase to be sung/chanted on one whole note in an SATB score. I follow the directions here (http://musescore.org/en/node/24475), but when I enter the text in the horizontal frame it extends beyond the right edge of the frame instead of wrapping to fit the frame. This occurs regardless of whether I use option-space to keep the syllables together or just space. And when I drag the horizontal frame around to resize it (in hopes that the text will thus become aware of its environment) the text still just trails off to the right.

I haven't gotten beyond this point yet so I still don't know about moving the frame so the text appears under the specific voice part; the nested frames initially appear at the bottom of the page, not under the note in question. (So far, dragging the frame(s) does nothing, I can only resize them.)
