Can't add anything from palettes
I'm not sure why, but for whatever reason, every time I try to drag over a crescendo or a key signature, or anything else from a palette, it doesn't work. My mouse (and the line/symbol) flickers, and when I move it onto the score, nothing happens.

What version of MuseScore, what OS?
You have to drop most elements *on* something specifically - not just anywhere on the page. Key signatures, for example, you drop on a *measure*, and you will see the measure highlight when the mouse is voer it and the key signature can be dropped. Only drop when you see the target highlight.

I'm not sure which one - the one before 2.0. My OS is Windows 8. I've never had this happen before, and I've been using MS for a while now. Also, I do know about where to drag them on the page, and even when I drag a key signature onto the measure, it doesn't take. The measure highlights, but when I release to put it on, nothing happens.

Could be something corrupt in your specific score, I guess. Please post the score you are having with and *precise* step by step instructions to reproduce the problem. It may turn out a screenshot video would be helpful too.

Well, it's happening in all my scores now, but I'll post the one in which the problem originated. Pretty much all that happens is that, when dragging key signature, dynamics or anything into the score, the mouse and the key signature flicker and won't go into the score. It just disappears when I drop it in.
