Adding voices works fine in one area of score, but is not working in another area
Hi,
I'm rather new to MuseScore and have just encountered an annoying problem. I'm trying to add a 2nd voice in one part of my score and after I've placed the cursor, chosen the Note, value, and number "2" for the voice, the cursor turns green and skips to another location a measure before it. But when I try to add a voice in a blank spot on my score, it works fine. Argh. Can anyone help? I've very OCD;)

I don't see where you say that you are entering note input mode - you have to do that *before* changing the voice.
if that doens't solve your problem, please post the score you are having trouble with an *precise* step by step instructions to reproduce the problem. Most like, you are doing something in the wrong order, but I can't be sure exactly. It's also possible your score has become corrupt.
Also say what version of MuseScore and what OS.
