Numbering measure by 5

• Mar 13, 2010 - 13:46

Numbered measures are, in this case, 1, 6, 11 and so on.

Usual edited scores uses 5,10,15 and so on....

I did not find a way to achieve that...

thanks

between 1 and 5 there is only 4 and between 5 and 10 there is 5. So it's not a regular numbering.
As far as I know MuseScore does not support this except if you go add a system break and choose to display the measure number at the beginning of a system.

usually the first measure is not numbered (obviously nobody needs), and the regular numbering begins with 5.

That's just one way to put marks or number. There is also numbering first measure of each system (except the first), and putting marks (numbers or letters).

But I must say that I never saw a printed score numbered 1, 6, 11 and so on.

And also other score editors (at least some I knows) use (or are able to ) the 5,10,15 system
