default direction for tie.
Recently I noticed there are some difference in appearance among musescore and other notation softwares.
Now I find why, the default direction of tie is different.
I read some books about music notation rules, and they say:
Below "voice" mean a single melody, a note, not "voice" icon button on the toolbar.
1. If there is only one voice, then tie direction is opposite to stem.
2. If 2 voices, the upper one's tie point up, the lower one's point down.
3. If 3 voices, 2 voices outside follow rule No.2, the middle one opposite to stem.
4. If 4 voices, 2 voices upper point up, 2 voices below point down.
5. If there are more voices, I don't know, let's try Finale.
6. if both of notes beside tie do not have stem, then pretent there is a stem, tie opposite to stem. If one of the note has stem, then tie opposite to that stem.
Attached are some example files about this issue, Those "png" images are screenshot in Fianle of those "xml" files.
These are my finding, if you know about this, comment below. Let's find out the rule about tie direction.

Loading the MusicXML in MuseScore a8835bed62 gives exactly the same result than in Finale now!

And tie directions are handledwell automatically upon note entry now, too. A wonderful improvement!
Generally speaking about tie direction, it was improved a lot for 2.0 (due to be released later this year, perhaps), but there's still a few issues I think.
