Shift a note up/down an octave
It would be extremely handy to be able to shift a note up/down an octave at a time rather than have to do it by 12 arrow presses.
(I note that Shift-Alt up/down arrow keys don't seem to do anything, which would be one possibility)

In fact, this feature is already implemented, with Ctrl+Up/Down

Aha, that's great - it must have been the only keystroke I didn't try.
Maybe I should update the manual. I also note that alt-1 2 3 4 etc. adds intervals below the entered notes as well.
(edit: I would update the manual if I could work out how to)

The manual has been updated (as you'll see in the online version). The next release of MuseScore will incorporate these updates.

On Mac its ⌘(command)+Up/Down
You can relocate the note (up or down) by dragging it with the cursor.
