Cannot play any music in other programs
Hi
today, i downloaded MuseScore( 0.9.4, Ubuntu 9.10, Acer Aspire 7730Z ). I don't now, if it is a bug or not but: Why can't other programs like firefox or VLC play music when MuseScore are opened? The problem, that I can't play sound with MuseScore is solved. I changed "default" to "hw:0" in I/O->ALSA-Audio.
But (for example) firefox still don't play music during MuseScore is open.
Have you any idea? *hope*

This is not a bug. The purpose of ASIO is to give applications dedicated use of the SoundCard (and exclude other applications from using it). If you do not want to do this you should follow the instructions below to use PulseAudio.
Upgrade to version 0.9.5 (instructions are on the download page of this website: http://musescore.org/en/download. (It looks like the German page doesn't have anyone to update this information)
After you upgrade to version 0.9.5 revert back to the default settings (use PulseAudio instead of ASIO).
I have upgraded to 0.9.6( can't find 0.9.5 anywhere ) and it works.
