Writing for Rack Percussion
When I write for the marching band or WGI activity, i usually have "rack percussionists" who play a range of instruments from cowbell to triangle to snare drum. So far i haven't been able to figure out how i can put all these parts and sounds on the same line, because currently having a separate line for every instrument crowds my score and makes it hard for them to learn their parts. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Yes, create the staff as a "drum set" rather than any one particular drum, then customize it as necessary to include the specific notes you want (right click staff, "edit drumset"

How do you add the sounds, like the triangle sound for instance, to that edit drum set menu?
