Two files are created while saving

First of all, thank you very much a very great music software. I am really happy i found Musescore.

I am just curious, is this normal while saving my file, two files are created. Example, if i am working on a score and I save it as Test. The file name that is created are TEST.MSCZ and .TEST.MSCZ. Take note the second file name has a period (.) before the file name, while the other one is the file i saved. Aside from this, everything is working fine. I am using 0.9.6

Thanks

Saving a file is done in the following steps:

1. The score is saved in a temporal file
2. The original file (if any) is renamed to a backup file name (i.e. .test.mscz,)
3. The temporal file name is renamed to the "real" filename (test.mscx)

The backup file is only created on the first save in a session.
This means you have always a safety backup in case something went wrong.
The backup file starts with a dot which at least in unix (linux) is a convention to hide this file in a normal directory listing. This avoids clobbering file listings with backup files.
