Issue opening mscz file

I've been working on this piece for the better part of a year (actually this is a copy I made a month ago and have continued to edit - I have the first draft saved and functional). Two days ago I saved it and then, without having made any other edits, I had to do a force shutdown of my computer. When I turned it back on my computer said this file was unreadable, although two other mscz files that had been open at the time were fine. Is it possible to rescue this file?
